Travis Schonacher promoted to President of Sealevel Construction

[Thibodaux, La-10-28-24] Sealevel Construction is proud to announce the appointment of Travis Schonacher as President of the company. In his new role, Travis will be responsible for working alongside CEO Richard Roth, overseeing all aspects of estimating and operations for Sealevel and its affiliated companies.

Travis's promotion is a well-deserved culmination of an impressive career that has spanned over two decades in the construction industry. After completing his degree in Construction Engineering at Louisiana Tech University, Travis gained valuable experience working with industry leaders before returning to his hometown of Thibodaux and joining the team at Sealevel.

Mr. Schonacher has been with Sealevel since 2010, starting as a project manager and estimator before eventually assuming the position of Director of Operations in 2019. Travis has played a pivotal role in Sealevel’s most notable water control projects and industrial expansion projects. Among his contributions at Sealevel are the Falgout Canal Flood Control Structure (FCS),Bayou Chene FCS, Inland LNG Pipeline Platforms, Bayou Terrebonne Lock System, Grand Bayou FCS, Airport Connector Road and Bridge, Koch Methanol Pilings, the Morgan City Pump Station, and now, Sealevel’s latest project, the Houma Navigation Canal Lock Complex, along with numerous other projects.

His portfolio of national and local projects across the Gulf Coast is a testament to his unparalleled ability to manage complex operations and deliver superior results. Having honed his skills under industry leaders, Travis has developed an in-depth understanding of all pile driving applications, drilled deep foundations, marine construction, and pre-cast concrete. His comprehensive expertise gives him a distinct edge in overseeing multi-million-dollar, capital projects. Today, as he steps into his new role as President of Sealevel Construction, Travis brings a wealth of knowledge, a proven track record, and a passion for excellence that is set to propel Sealevel Construction to new heights.

Travis is also a member of several industry organizations including Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), LSU's Construction Industry Advisory Council (CIAC), Associated General Contractors of America, and Pile Driving Contractors Association (PDCA), where Travis was electedPresident of the Gulf Coast Chapter in 2019. Throughout his tenure at Sealevel, he has consistently demonstrated his leadership and dedication to the company’s and the industry's success.

Roth will continue his role as CEO of Sealevel Construction. He will continue to offer his expertise and guidance to support Travis and the Sealevel team in their pursuit of building water control infrastructure and industrial expansion projects.
