Project Overview
Sealevel Construction was subcontracted to complete 5 underground tanks for an industrial client. Initially, the project faced significant setbacks due to unsuitable earthen forms used to pour 47-foot-deep perimeter walls before Sealevel arrived on site. This method led to weakpoints, voids, and leaks in the concrete, compromising the integrity of the tanks. Sealevel quickly got to work, correcting these critical deficiencies andcontinuing with the original project scope. Due to delays incurred prior to Sealevel’s arrival on site, Sealevel’s team worked an accelerated schedule, working 24/7 to ensure the project remained on track. Sealevel adapted to the project’s demands and pivoted between tasks simultaneously to ensure that they not only met the deadline but beat it. Over the course of 10 months, our Sealevel team logged over 142,000 man-hours and successfully completed the (5) tanks ahead of schedule with zero safety incidents. See below for more information about this critical project.
